The Azabudai Japanese Language School, formerly Reiyukai Japanese Language Course, is located in the center of Tokyo, Japan. It was established in July 1982; and since then, over 2,000 students have attended from more than seventy countries.
The basic aim of our course is to increase students' ability to understand Japanese. Therefore, from the first lesson we encourage students to communicate and use their newly learned language skills in their everyday lives. We believe that being able to communicate successfully in real life situations is important when learning any language; and though we stress grammatical and pronunciation accuracy, oral communication and comprehension is our ultimate goal. All classes are taught by highly qualified instructors.

| Level 2 | This class is for people who can express simple daily facts in short sentences and who can read Hiragana and Katakana. |
| Level 3 | This class is for those who can communicate using short sentences on simple topics such as subjects relating to themselves and their family member. |

This class is for those who can discuss daily topics, using and understanding longer, more complicated sentences, by connecting sentences with a larger vocabulary. |
| Level 6 | Applicants are expected to have knowledge of basic Japanese structures and to be able to discuss some limited topics in short paragraphs. |
Oral Proficiency Class. The basic aim of our course is to increase students’ ability to understand Japanese.
